Wilmcote Village Hall invites you to the 2026 Amateur Flower and Produce Show — a friendly community event celebrating gardening, growing, baking, photography, art and local talent.
The show is open to everyone to enter, whether you are an experienced gardener, a keen baker, a young artist, or simply someone who enjoys taking part in village life.
Come along to view the displays, support the exhibitors and enjoy an afternoon celebrating the best of local flowers, fruit, vegetables, produce, cookery and creativity.

Entering the Show
Entries must be submitted by 5.00pm on Thursday 13 August 2026.

The cost is 50p per class, payable by 10.45am on the day of the show.

Classes and Categories
There are classes for all ages and interests, including:
Fruit and Vegetables
Classes include runner beans, carrots, onions, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, courgettes, beetroot, herbs, cucumber, marrow and mixed vegetable collections.
Flowers
Classes include roses, dahlias, gladioli, garden flowers, foliage, floating flower heads, fuchsia heads, flowers in a jam jar, flowering plants and foliage plants.
Flower Arranging
Including arrangements in a teapot and a flower arrangement inspired by “a fascinator”.
Art
A painting or drawing, in any medium, themed around a “Pond Scene”.
Photography
Photography classes for the themes:
Shadows
Woodland
Close-up tree bark
Photographs must be unframed and unedited.
Produce
Classes include fresh hens’ eggs, lemon curd, marmalade, jam and chutney.
Preserves must be clearly labelled and dated, with no logos on jars or lids.
Cookery
Classes include chocolate chip cookies, plain scones, Victoria sandwich, roasted vegetable quiche, carrot cake and marble cake.
Young Skills — Bakers and Artists
Children and young people can enter age-based classes including:
Decorated gingerbread man
Painting or drawing of a bird
Four cupcakes
Painting or drawing of a pet
Animal made from raw vegetables
Trophies
Trophies will be awarded across a range of sections, including fruit and vegetables, flowers, art, photography, produce, cookery and overall points in the show.
The show also includes the Tony Crook Cup for Art Club members, awarded for Best Painting by public vote.
Important Show Rules
Each exhibitor may enter only once in each class.
Entries must be made on an official form. Photocopied forms are acceptable.
Class cards will be provided in the hall on the day of the show. Exhibitors are responsible for placing their own cards.
All exhibits and personal property are entered at the exhibitor’s own risk.
Exhibits must be grown by the exhibitor, or have been in their possession for at least three months before the show. Materials for floral art entries may be bought.
Cut flower exhibitors must use the vases and display boxes provided.
No exhibit may be removed before 4.00pm. Any exhibit not removed by 4.30pm may be removed and discarded.
Judging will be carried out under RHS rules.
